Options for Less Than Perfect Credit
Many people think that if you don't have perfect credit that you can't get financed for a new car, and that is not completely true.
Some simple ways that will help know if you can get financed.
These days with the internet a person can check their credit so they know how good or bad their credit is. All banks have different stipulations about how you will qualify for a loan. Some of their qualifiers are Credit Score, Income to Debt ratio, any accounts a collections current or previous.
The best thing that you can do is pay off anything at collections first. After that go in to a dealership and fill out a credit application. If you can not get a loan on your own they will ask you if you have someone that can co-sign the loan for you. Do not be offended if they ask you this question. They are just trying to work out every option for you. The benefit of a co-signer is that if they have good credit you will get a better interest rate and possibly a longer term on the loan. A cosigner is the easiest and the best option for you if you do not have perfect credit.
